Mac Clifton is the driving force behind AudiSee Navigation, serving as the company's founder and CEO. With an unwavering commitment to innovation and a passion for making a positive impact, Mac's journey is a testament to the transformative power of vision and dedication.
Hailing from the waterfront town of Annapolis, Maryland, Mac's unyielding affinity for water and sports has charted a course that runs deep and constant through the currents of her life. Sailing since childhood, she skillfully harnessed the winds of passion to forge an unbreakable bond with the sea, setting sail on an extraordinary odyssey of exploration and purpose.
Armed with a degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Miami, Mac's technical prowess is matched only by her compassion. Her professional journey took a transformative turn while working with a nonprofit in Coconut Grove, Miami, where a sailing expedition with a blind veteran ignited a revolutionary idea. The concept for the AudiSee device was born—a groundbreaking solution designed to empower individuals with visual impairments, enhancing their independence and mobility.
Mac's impact extends beyond the corporate realm. Her philanthropic spirit shines through in her extensive volunteer work, from supporting women's homeless shelters to assisting families touched by cancer.
